DHL are one of the world's foremost cargo and logistics solutions providers with operations spanning the globe. A key strategic development was the establishment of a JV with Lufthansa Cargo. This gave DHL intercontinental lift through linking the partners' regional networks to fully control transit times.
The JV also enabled flexible capacity sharing, spreading costs over the two partners. Managing key aspects of the set-up of a major air cargo joint venture:
