EASYJET
easyJet vie with Ryanair for dominance of the low cost airline segment, serving cities across Europe and as far as the Levant / North Africa. Mango people have worked on a variety of projects for this leading LCC.
easyJet achieved a step-change in scale in July 2002, with their acquisition of Go Fly Ltd using this as a springboard to secure a record-breaking Airbus fleet order deployed to attack the high fare duopolies prevailing on most European shorthaul routes.
Key participation in easyJet takeover of Go and more recently engaged in a restructuring of credit card arrangements:
- Cross company project teams set-up to deliver key milestones of:
- single AOC and Operation,
- merged Commercial set-up,
- organisation synergies and cost savings,
- support to an airline that was doubling in size,
- completion of ground-breaking strategic negotiation leading to planned switch from Boeing 737 fleet to Airbus
- Card arrangement restructuring included:
- establishing a common platform supporting multiple acquirers and payment options,
- Renegotiation of terms securing improvements in terms and efficiency.
